[Nexus to launch the T-2 Dual Tuner, an XM Satellite-capable AM/FM tuner.] Orlando, FL --
Nexus Audio Systems announced that it will launch the T-2 Dual Tuner, an XM Satellite-capable, AM/FM tuner at the Electronic House Expo (EHX) Spring 2006, held from March 30 – April 1 at the Orange County Convention Center (Orlando, Fla.). The T-2's scheduled availability is for early Q2 2006. "The T-2 Dual Tuner is an XM satellite radio and AM/FM tuner in a 1U high chassis," explained Victor Berry, founder and president of Nexus Audio Systems. "It is designed to communicate through the Nexlink connection via Nexus' C-6 A/V controller, which in turn, displays all of the tuner information, including channel name, artist and song title on the K-8 or K-22 keypads. The T-2 features 'audio' grade components in its output circuitry and a highly regulated toroidal power supply." The C-6, which won a RESI Award for "Best A/V Controller/Receiver" during the 2005 CEDIA Show, supports six independently operated zones, as well as five audio/video source components, in addition to a built-in AM/FM tuner module. Besides the T-2 Dual Tuner, available X-1 and X-2 Expansion Controllers, which can expand the C-6 system to 18 total zones, and the K-8 and K-22 Keypads, which control Zone Power, Source Selection, Source Control, Volume, Treble and Bass, make the C-6 the answer for superior multi-room A/V distribution.
